Pictometry is a patented information system, developed by Pictometry International, which allows users to have high-resolution images from multiple views of single buildings at the click of a mouse.

Pictometry empowers users to make accurate measurements from oblique images, which means an aerial photograph that has been taken at an angle.

This means that a feature such as a building, streetlight, fire hydrant, etc. can be seen in its entirety, rather than the conventional top down perspective of aerial photography.
